Active optical cables or AOCs are by no means unique to Cleerline and have been available in one form or another for some time. Due to the nature of their construction, however, AOCs can be susceptible to breaking, and that's where Cleerline's AOCs make a difference. The utilization of safe fiber within our AOC makes them far stronger and more resilient to breakage than other AOCs that are available.
